Go to Commerce > Catalogs to explore catalogs and their related products and variants. You also can search for specific catalogCommerce: a top-level container for catalog entries such as categories, products, and variants (SKUs). entries such as products and variants (SKUStock Keeping Unit; corresponds to a specific type of product with specific characteristics. For example, a product line of shirts have individual variations/SKUs that include size, color, and collar size.s).
Click Catalogs to browse the list of catalogs. The following image shows multiple catalog nodes with different types of products.
Select a catalog node (such as Books-Art) to expand the underlying subcategories, which appear in the main content area. The following listing displays an overview with the name, code, price, and availability for products and their variantCommerce: a variant or SKU corresponds to a specific type of product with specific characteristics. For example, a product line of shirts have individual variations/SKUs that include size, color, and collar size.s (SKUs). You can filter the catalog listing by market using the Market selector at the top. You also can display thumbnail images for catalog entries.
Select a categoryCMS: a built-in Episerver property, you apply a category to content, but you need to build the functionality to display the filtered results. Commerce: a category is a grouping of purchasable products. (Same as node.) and drill down until you see productCommerce: various forms of merchandise that you can display and purchase from the public site, including products, variations/SKUs, bundles, packages and dynamic packages.s, packageCommerce: a unit that contains multiple products or variants, with a single unique pricing for the entire package; comparable to an individual SKU because the package item must be purchased as a whole (such as a computer system).s, and bundleCommerce: a collection of variations and SKUs that let customers purchase two or more items at once.s. Select the arrow next to a product, package or bundle to expand the list to display related products and variants. The stock availability and pricing information appear for variants.
Select a product or variant to view and edit the content for the item. For information about editing products and variants, see Editing and publishing catalog entries.
To search for catalog entries from the Catalogs view, enter one or more keywords into the search field. If you enter keywords inside quotation marks (such as "barbra paperback"), the search only fetches entries with those exact keywords. Accessing products in CMS
You also can access entries in the product catalog from CMS > Edit through the Catalogs gadgetA small application component, accessible from the Dashboard or the panes in the Episerver user interface for Episerver CMS and other Episerver products. in the assetContent such as documents, videos, and images that can be linked to other content such as pages, blocks, and catalog entries in Commerce.s pane, which is useful when you want to drag-and-drop catalog entries into content areas in CMS pages or blocks.
