Working with web forms

Web forms are excellent ways of collecting information and interacting with visitors to your website. Typical examples of web forms are polls and surveys, registration forms, and contact requests. In Episerver, the recommended way of working with forms is using the block-based approach through the Episerver Forms add-on. This add-on lets you work with form components in a similar fashion as, for example, when dragging blocks into a content area.

There is also a built-in form feature in Episerver, where a form property is added to a page template or a block during implementation. Note that this functionality is marked as legacy.
